About La Fiole Bleue
La Fiole Bleue, the blue vial, is an independent site about e-liquid, read from the bottle up. We keep no catalogue and write no shop listings. We explain what a buyer is actually holding, meaning the label, the bottle size, the nicotine strength, the standards the product has to meet and the way to store it.
Our approach
Every article starts from a bottle, or from a practical question it raises. What a line on the label means, how to read a nicotine strength, what a bottle size changes, how to keep a liquid as it was made once it is open. We favour explanations that hold from one bottle to the next over comment on whatever product is in fashion.

Who writes it
Articles are written by Mathilde Carrère, who reads e-liquid labels line by line before writing about them. Every piece is checked before it goes live, and any error reported to us is corrected.
UK readers
Our English pages are written with the United Kingdom in mind. Nicotine e-liquids sold in the UK fall under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, which cap nicotine strength at 20 mg/ml, limit nicotine refill bottles to 10 ml and tanks to 2 ml. Figures quoted for other markets may therefore not match what is on sale here. Nicotine vaping products may not be sold to anyone under 18.
